How hard is it to get into UM?

<p>This is just a thought, so please don't shoot me down...
It would be for an out if state student. </p>

<p>I read that it's pretty easy, but then I realized that that article was from 2008 so there's no telling how much has changed in comparison to how hard it is to get into..</p>

<p>Which UM? Michigan? That one is pretty tough to get into.</p>

<p>Well their 2011-2012 data set says the middle 50% ACT range is 28-32 (rough SAT equivalent of 1860-2130) and 72% of their incoming freshman students were in the top 10% of their high school class. I’d say those are fairly high admission standards based on stats alone.</p>
