just wandering if anyone has an idea

Very easy. If you're going by minimum CC standards, anyway. 1050-1270 is the mid 50% on collegeboard..

Average ACT is a 26. They use ACT far more than SAT, and they superscore your ACT. I don't know how competitive OOS acceptance is, but I know their admission rate last year was about 72%.

i live in the state and i know someone who got in with a 2.5 gpa
hint you cant trust the average scores, more like look at the lower half because many students with good grades go to instate schools because they are cheaper
i know someone with higher then around a 4.0 and a 30 act that went there because they offer great scholarships as with any state school
they really accept just about anyone that did alright in high school
3.0 and a 26 act outta be guaranteed acceptance for anyone instate or out of state
lower then that you might have to pull strings and go out of ur way but shouldnt be out of reach to anyone but the complete slackers

What are your stats?

Southern state schools are rather generous with their admissions, so unless you have low test scores and low GPA, you should be ok.

Also…if UTenn has rolling admissions, it helps to get your app in ASAP…schools with rolling are more lenient early on and get tougher as the admission season goes on.
