I am considering applying to U Toronto, and I have time (Deadline is March 1st). I was just wondering how hard is it to get into if you are from the U.S.? Also how is the financial aid for US students? The application fee is $215! That is astronomically high, so is there any way to get a waiver, or do you need to be very low income to get one? The whole canadian applications confuse me and I have no idea how to complete them. Very very confused!

University of Toronto is a great school, I think acceptance rate is said to be more difficult than an average university in Canada. Fee waivers are available ( for non Canadian residents I was informed) but I think one must have low income. I also looked into the school when I was a senior in high school but never had the time to apply.

Okay thanks for your post! I am also considering University of British Columbia at Vancover. (If I do end up applying to a Canadian university, it will only be one). I am applying to around 8 American schools. I do not get why canadian schools have to be so much to apply! UofT was $215, and UBC was $150!
