Children of OOS alums at UNC, my son for example who was accepted in 2003, are put in a seperate admissions pool. Thier credentials are closer to in-state (although higher) applicants than regular OOS applicants. UVA is a much better choice for OOS because of the much larger percentage of non-Virginians. They love the OOS tuition.

Not to mention - and let's be honest here - who would want to go to Carolina over Virginia? :)

Just kidding, UNC. See you at the Dean Dome on Wednesday.

And that's my thread-hijacking $.02!

I'm more likely to be at the Kohl Center these days than the Dean Dome. BTW, nice victory over BC.

papa chicken--thanks for the link.. again i was just looking into it i will probably apply but it's probably not my "dream college" or my number 1 choice.. anyways i have a couple other questions..
what are some christian colleges with national reputations? and what liberal arts college (that are top tier) are more right winged than left winged? (i come from a conservative small christian priv. school that's why im asking)

UNC-You're better off applying to Columbia.
UVA-Don't know.

life-- suggest you start 2 new threads in this (college search) forum, your questions verbatim above are fine for the headers....you'll get much more response that way.

I for one can't help much on either question, other than to tell you forget about Wesleyan & Vassar.
