How hard is it to major in Computer Science at a top school with no prior experience?

So recently I've become attracted to the field of computer science. I have never been tech savvy in my entire life, but after perusing khanacademy and watching a few calc videos to prepare for a test, I started playing around with the programming tutorials and became interested.

I'm a senior in HS and I'm applying to top schools. I definitely want to pursue CS in college. How hard is it to major in CS when you have no prior experience? It seems like most people who want to major in CS at top schools already have lots of programming/tech experience. Thanks

Many students come into CS with no prior knowledge either because they only recently developed an interest in it or because their high school had no computer related courses.
That’s why colleges have introductory courses in every major. Do not worry about it. Many schools offer two levels of their intro CS Course, one for newbies and an advanced one.
My son was in the same boat as you and is doing fine in CS at a good engineering school ;-)
