How hard is it to self study an AP class

I want to know if it's too time consuming. My school doesn't offer that many AP classes, and I want to take some for my own interests. Will the subjects (AP Chem, and AP Physics C next year, after taking AP Physics B and AP calc in school) be more difficult to understand? What if I don't understand them, who am I going to ask for help?
Also, would buying the books cost a lot of money?
(keep in mind that I already take some AP classes, so I get a lot of homework already)

Thanks in advance!

Buying study guides shouldn't cost a lot. Or actually, you could try to ask your school to buy the books instead.

As for how time consuming, I'm not sure..

oh, do you think the school will be that nice?

bump.........

bump.........please?

anyone? please? I know there's many ppl here who have self studied AP's, can you tell me about the experience?

You could always ask lol Just tell your school that other people probably want to self-study AP's too and they might considering buying study guides, just like they normally buy textbooks. That might work especially if your school doesn't offer those AP courses.

ehh, only get textbooks though if you actually wanna learn the stuff really well and will actually use it, otherwise use a test prep book.

ap tests are nice in that theyre soooo formatized that its really easy to bs a 5 on em. like my chem isnt that good but just by using a test prep book and this other thing i found a 5ll be really easy. and same goes for most other tests, except like histories. for the sciences and maths its easy.

ohhh thanks guys
