How Hard is it to Switch into Engineering?

I applied into arts and sciences (I’m a hs senior), but now I think I want to do engineering (maybe BME). Anyone know how this process would work and how hard it would be? I am a little nervous because I heard that you have to apply separately into BME.

There are two steps in this process. The first is getting into college of engineering and being a pre-BME major. I am not sure how this process will work. Here is a link though:
