I got accepted to the School of Physical Sciences but I've changed my mind about what I want to major in. I don't want to be stuck in a corner for what I consider my safety and was wondering how difficult it is to switch schools.

It depends on what you want to switch to. Call up the counselors from the school that you want to switch TO (not switch from) and tell them you want to switch. Often you can do this at summer orientation by filling out a few forms. But I think if you want to switch to the School of Social Sciences you can't do it until the school year starts, and some Engineering majors are like that too.

But even if you can't switch right away, you can still take the class requirements for the school you want to switch to and then just make the official switch as soon as they'll let you.
