If I go into UT as a CS major, would I have a better shot at transferring to McCombs because my major was so competitive to begin with?

I’m thinking between going into CS with a BSA degree (bachelor of science and arts), basically a less comp sic focused major. The thing is, I’m debating what the real difference between the BSA degree would be between an MIS degree from McCombs.

Would an MIS degree essentially combine a degree from their top ranked business program with their top ranked CS program? Why not reap the benefits of both.

If that’s the case? How difficult would it be to transfer? Would it be dumb to go in CS expecting to transfer into McCombs?

Everything I have read about Internal Transfers is that it can be very difficult. Nothing you can ever count on.
