How hard is it to swtich from ChemBE to BME?

<p>I got rejected from BME.. so I am going for ChemBE instead... how hard is it after I go in.. to switch from ChemBE to my desired major, BME?</p>

<p>i remember reading something about the difficulty of switching. they said it really depends on how many people choose to drop out of BME. when that hapapens, they open up for spots for applications from the current students or something. i cant find the link, sorry.</p>

<p>At the end of freshman year, Engineering Advising will send out an application to all freshman to transfer into BME. Like georgeyang89 said, the number of people they accept depends on the number of BMEs that enroll and the number that drop the major during freshman year. Last year, I believe around a dozen people transfered into BME.</p>
