How hard is it to transfer as a student from UCSB?

<p>Hello, I'm currently majoring as a mechanical engineer at UCSB. Is it possible to transfer to UCLA or is it something that I should give up on? What do I need to do to transfer? What classes should I take to help my transfer? What GPA is the minimum I should aim for?Thanks!</p>

<p>It’s very possible. I know of 4 people just on my floor who transfered from UCSB. 3 others transferred from UCSC. They may be smart but I don’t think they’re geniuses either. Just regular hardworking folks.</p>
