How hard is it to transfer between schools?

I wasn't accepted to Viterbi, but what are the chances of being able to transfer to Marshall or Viterbi?

I think this questions has been answered a lot already, and the answer is yes, but I recommend you talk to Admissions ASAP before orientation so there's no trouble when registering for classes.

Was that a yes as in... it IS difficult, or it ISNT difficult? I tried searching the forum and found two or three threads that don't really answer the question.

I should clarify my situation since it doesn't look clear. I was accepted to Arts and Sciences, but I want to transfer to either Marshall or Viterbi (again)

Sorry about that, YES you are able to transfer quite easily. Out of all the scenarios, transferring from USC College to Marshall or Viterbi should be especially easy since USC College has all the "non-professional" majors (not sure if that's the correct term)

But again, talk to Admissions ASAP to get it taken care of.

I will certainly give them a call on monday, however, I still seem to be questioning the ease of transferring. If all it takes is a phone call to change schools, why didn't they accept me at Viterbi in the first place?

I think it takes more than a phone call. You might need some departmental clearance and stuff, but I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get in fine.
