I heard it is almost impossible.

From the UVA website:

"Students interested in spring admission must have 24 credit hours earned and completed prior to the October 1 application deadline. For this reason it is highly unlikely that a student in the first year of college would be permitted to apply as a spring transfer applicant.

Students are ordinarily admitted only for the fall semester, although a limited number are admitted to the College of Arts and Sciences and Architectural History for the spring semester."

I would wait until the fall to apply. You will have a better chance of admission (and a chance overall for McIntire, etc.) and more time to improve your qualifications.

BTW, I almost certain Urban Planning is taking students in the Spring. I’ll verify and update tomorrow.

How can I answer this question?

How do your possible career or professional plans relate to your planned course of study? Limit your answer to one page.

I’ve already talked about it in my Common Application essay.

Most supplements/essays for transfer applicants are going to ask the same question. My advice to you is to use your essay originally intended for your CA for your UVa supplement and write a new CA essay.

Can anyone at UVA provide me with the statistics for transfer acceptances at UVA? Like how many % accepted, and their average GPA.

I currently have 4.0, and incoming 60+ credits.

Can anyone provide me with some answers?

Have you searched the UVa transfer blog for answers to your questions? If not, see: http://uvatransferadmission.blogspot.

In the comments to a November 28, 2011 post, an admissions officer reported that the acceptance rate for Spring transfers was 13%.

@AVA55 Thank you kind sir.
