How hard is it? What are the transfer admissions rates? Are there any anecdotes of acceptances here on CC?

People here have gotten into Georgetown, and from what I know it isn't as hard as transferring to let's say Northwestern. Good HS grades + SAT scores, and a college GPA around 3.7-.3.9 is about the norm from what I've seen from people here (except for one person).

I also forgot that Essays/ECs/Recs/Interview also play a large part.

It's weird. I was just looking at Georgetown College common data set for 1999 - 2000 and my how things have changed in 6 years. Back then the application fee was only $25 and the college had a 100% acceptance rate of it's female transfers. Thats crazy. Anyway, thanks for the info pellman.

100% acceptance rate for female transfers? A bit of a lovely surprise. Yet female politicians have been underestimated for so long. But sadly it was 6 yrs ago...

Georgetown College or Georgetown University?

hahahah wow. i didn't even know a georgetown college existed.

http://www.georgetowncollege.edu/

I was talking about the college part of the university. Like sfs and the business school, there is a school called georgetown college

Lol Georgetown College is a Christian College @ the heart of Kentucky.

"@ the heart of Kentucky." ....
