Just wondering how hard it is to transfer to wpi? Im a freshman at University of Pittsburgh and a chemical engineer major. I’m doing fine grade-wise but I just got a little worried since the website for wpi admissions says most successful transfer students apply with a gpa of 3.5?, and I have a 3.2. How much do they factor in your major and school you currently attend?
University of Pittsburgh is a peer school of WPI. I know of people who transferred with 3.5-3.9 at community colleges. I would say your GPA would not hold you from transferring into WPI and you would have good/excellent chances.
