'nuff said

You do know there’s a unit cap at 19, right? (Unless you already filled out the papers.)

My thoughts: Time consuming, but doable. I’m almost willing to bet you’ll end up blowing off that GE course, lol.

what jtanton said

I think it’s a manageable schedule, mostly because it’s 21 units over four classes rather than 21 over five. But I would suggest that if you haven’t taken PS 30 yet that you consider it. It’s a good pairing for quarters when you have more reading/writing intensive courses (like your cluster and PS 10).

The 19 unit cap is a problem here, nonetheless; you’ll only be able to enroll in four of these courses without it increased. To gain approval to take 21 units, you’ll probably have to go to one of the College Academic Counseling windows at the Murphy Hall basement after second pass appointments begin and ask (unless you’re in AAP or Honors or are an athlete). It only takes a minute to do, and you won’t have to file a petition or speak to a counselor as long as you have a 3.0 GPA overall and 3.0 in the last quarter of work completed.

Note, however, that CAC is not very receptive to excess unit requests before the first day of the new quarter. They seemed willing to grant an exception to graduating seniors or people who would not have more than four total classes, so I guess, given you fit in the latter, it’s worth a shot.

i want to take Professor Gelvin this spring, but I need to know if he does honors contracts. do any of you know if he does?
