How Hard is UR?

<p>How hard is UR? I want to major in business administration with a concentration in finance. I know the program is extremely well respected and that the professors really teach you what you need to know, but how hard is the program? I heard that most students spend around 16 hours a week doing work. Are tests unbearably hard or is it just a lot of work? I have no problem spending 30 hours a week doing work but if a professor gives an impossibly hard test that is really disheartening.</p>

<p>It is definitely a hard school, but if you came from a strong high school, took honors and AP courses, and are willing to put in the hours, you’ll be fine. Our daughter has found it tough but not overwhelming. She took all honors and five APs in high school, and she felt very prepared this year. She is just finishing her freshman year and should make Freshman Honors this year. Good luck. The Business School is very impressive. Have you visited?</p>
