i got a lot of financial aid and scholarships
but i have to work study at the school?
exactly when do i work (during the summer? during the year? if it's during the summer do i work study this summer or the next?)

do you guys know what you actually do for work study?
do you work in the library or the cafe or something?
and do u know if its really time-constraining?

thanks :)

First, you don't have to do work study just because it shows up on your CARS statement. If you find a better job you can take it. If you do want to do work study you can go online and see what's available, which is anything from academic research to scrubing pots and pans. As far as time consumption, that really depends on what the job pays and how much work study money you have. If you have 700 dollars you can only work until you reach that point. That might take all semester if you only work 3 hours a week, or it could be gobbled up in a week and a half if you're worked like a champ.

i work at the administration, and all i do is filing, organazing paperwork, sorting mails, all that clerical stuff. it's boring, but it pays! yeah, and for most work study jobs you have to work at least 10 hrs a week
