<p>As the school continues to get more competitive admissions wise, if SU is clearly your number one choice I would highly suggest applying Early Decision. I would agree with above posters that College of A&S is the easiest to get into. However, the majority of the programs I would say you need around an 1800 SAT and at least a 3.5 or higher GPA</p>
<p>I just applied and will be a freshman next year at Syracuse, but I can say that I got into CAS, and I only had a 1670 for my SAT score. I dont think that Syracuse is one of those schools that looks at SAT scores heavily I think they are more about the potential and characteristics of the student. I also only had a 3.0 GPA but I did take all IB courses at a rigorous high school. But I can say that if you dont have a high SAT score it does not necessarily mean you wont get in because I did and mine was fairly low.</p>

I have an unweighted 3.3 gpa and 2100sat (retaking yo get 2300) . predident of leos vlub two year (member of four years) in two other vlubs for two years, bolunteer at the library 300+ hpurs, bolunteer at ADHC in Commonwelth (senior center) and took all honors and 9AP Classes and tests. Chances?
