How hard to transfer into FSB?

Hello everyone. I did not get direct admit into FSB. I looked up the requirements for transferring in after freshman year and one of the requirements was a 3.50 or higher GPA. Has anyone had experienced or have information about how hard or easy it is to transfer in after freshman year? If anyone has the information it would greatly be appreciated since I don’t want to attend Miami and get rejected for FSB after freshman year if I somehow mess up my grades. I also heard somewhere, I forgot where that you could take summer courses and transfer the credits to Miami so you have a backup or something like that in case you do badly on a course? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

My recommendation is not to go to a school where you aren’t accepted into the division or major that you want, at least not if you are serious about it. Farmer is a great program, no doubt, but that’s not going to do you any good if you don’t get in.

On the other hand, if you love Miami, and would be satisfied with a degree from CAS (BA in Economics, perhaps?), go for it. Just don’t count on transferring in to Farmer.
