How hard will it be for me to get into the top bioengineering universities?

I'm a current UCSD undergrad that will be graduating next year as a bioengineering major. I have maintained an impeccable 3.98 GPA, have participated extensively in research opportunities, and will have excellent letters of recommendation written on my behalf by some of the most brilliant professors here at UCSD. I'm looking to apply to JHU, MIT, Stanford, Duke, Rice, and Cal for graduate school. The only thing I am worried about is that these prestigious schools might look down on my application because I completed the prerequisites for my major at a community college. How big of a deciding factor will this piece of information be when being considered for grad school?

none, unless the cc gpa was trash  Much more important is grade in the major, which we can surmise quite easily, and the GRE scores. Study for the GRE and you’ll do fine. One of those schools is likely to be willing to spend three or four hundred thousand dollars to give you a PhD.
