How hard will it be to self-study AP Physics: EM

<p>i want to self-study Electricity and Magnetism, but I am not sure if I would be able to cover all the material starting now (winter break - 1st day) to May. Is it doable? I have the prep book: PR and Barrons for Physics C. I have Physics for Scientists and engineers 7th edition and my class is doing mechanics only. I am currently taking calc BC.</p>

<p>What should I do to prepare for the test and get at least a 4? I am currently taking ap chem, ap bio, ap micro/macro econ, ap calc bc, ap physics, and regular English.</p>

<p>Would you really like to have bio and two physics AP’s on the same day, and then chem the very next day?</p>

<p>Besides, you’re not gonna get through all the material by May.</p>

<p>Yeah… you might have been able to do it if you started earlier. I have heard that E/M is very difficult.</p>

<p>I would go for it. We only started E&M a few weeks ago in my class, and tbh, taking the class wouldn’t make THAT much of a difference unless you have an AMAZING teacher. GO GO GO!</p>

<p>imo, physics c is not the thing i’d want to self-study.
I’d self-study AP bio, AP Environ, or even AP Phy B.
It seems like the concepts in Physics C are too hard for me to grasp by myself…</p>

<p>My brother started self studying E&M around this time two years ago for that AP Exam.</p>

<p>He got a 4 and 5’s on both Physics B and Physics C: Mech.</p>

<p>I think it’s definitely a possibility, and I’m doing it this year.</p>

<p>If you took the class, you’ll probably be fine. Otherwise, I’d say no.</p>

<p>I’ve taken Physics B, easily got a 5
My class is supposed to be for Mechanics and Elecricity and Magnetism, but my class (of seniors) decided that they didn’t want to do E&M and so convinced the teacher to slow down. Thus, I’m studying E&M alone with some help from my teacher outside of class.</p>
