Ok, so I applied to A&M. I have an automatic acceptance. The thing is, I put Applied Mathematical Science as my intended major. I've changed my mind, and would like to major in something else. My application has been sent out, so it's too late for that. I would like to major in computer science instead. How hard would it be for me to switch over to that major before the fall 2014 school year starts? Would there even be any open spots for me to even be considered to the major? I have a 3.4 high school GPA, but got a 520 on the SAT math section. Thanks.

computer science is in college of engineering, so you don’t have the minimum score to switch. Options are: 1) retake SAT in Nov, try for a higher score & submit .Then see if there is room to switch 2) start in your original major and take courses to transfer into CS later.
