I’ve always taken AP classes in high school and will have about 6~7 AP credits.
That might take out some of my general education classes.
Also, I plan on working throughout the year and taking classes during the summer.
How hard are each major separately and together? Can I finish one of them early?
Impossible : nursing doesn’t allow a second major, because almost all classes are mandatory and sequential.
BTW, 6-7 AP’s will not cover all gen-eds at most colleges.
Do all nursing programs not allow double majors? What if I double up classes? Or if I finish nursing early and then take computer science?
I know 6 to 7 AP credits won’t cover all general education classes. I was just saying I might be able to start studying the specific courses early.
This is not a realistic plan, you are living in la la land with these incompatible double majors and working. If you don’t understand this you need to start reading some pages on the websties of colleges with both programs. Look at the major requirements for each, maybe a sample schedule is online and try and figure out how you would do both those things. It is ridic to think of doing upper div CS while doing clinical rotations for nursing. Also look at the overall graduation requirements that may be common to the two majors.
Maybe if you explained which you are intending to practice or what the plan is people can help suggest other plans.
Yes, nursing is a fixed, vocational major. All future nurses take the same basic classes, in the same order. The class title may be different, but all nurses in the US receive a similar education to guarantee a high level of instruction and high level of professionalism regardless of where you live or are taken care of. There may be space to take one computer science class each year, plus one in the summer before your summer are used for professional experience, but that wouldn’t add up to a major or even a minor in CS.
Once you finish your major and graduate, you no longer have access to financial aid.
Here are several examples - notice that there’s only space for a CS class if you do have a few gen eds through AP.

At a top LAC (note that you need to “add in” the gen eds and core requirements from the bottom of the sheet - the classes that are already typed in are those that must be taken that specific semester)

If you are planning to take more than 4 years to graduate - maybe 5-6 - then you could double major in nursing and computer science. Maybe. It would depend on how the CS offerings played nice with the nursing offerings at the school you chose.
If you plan to finish in 4 years this would be nigh impossible. Remember that in addition to taking a grueling load of courses, nursing students must also complete clinical hours at hospitals around their classes. You may be able to minor, but even that would be hard.
I agree with the earlier question of what are you trying to do with these two majors?
