Im a incoming sophomore and if i get a 4.0 this fall semester, my gpa will be a 3.31 on an upward trend. Even though it isnt a bad gpa, its even worse for me because I am out of state(i go to the university of hawaii at manoa) and i heard that mainly california residents or ccc students get accepted. Should I even bother filling out the application? reading these transfer stats have me depressed lol...

what’s wrong with your current school? hawaii cant be that bad lol

With a 3.2+ GPA, I would still give some of the UC’s a try, UCR, UCD, UCI, UCSC. This is all assuming you do really well this semester

With a 3.31 - You have a chance. I actually thought it said 3.13 at first LOL. What’s your major though?

What about WUE? You should be able to get into the exchange.

I would say that it depends on your major. I applied as an out of state student with a 3.7 GPA for computer science and engineering and got in after being waitlisted at UCI.

it is really hard to tell because “if you get 4.0, then your gpa will be 3.31”
what if you don’t get 4.0? it will be less than 3.31
last year my gpa was 3.34, major in econ and got in (CCC student).

honestly, your chances are slim to none…CCC get priority
