How Hard

would it be for me to transfer into USC from out of state. I'm still a HS senior and next year I'll probably go to Syracuse or Albany because my parents want me to stay closer to home for a year. What grade would I need to pull to transfer to USC after one year or is it pretty much impossible? Thanks.

Lots of people transfer in after one year. The biggest thing they look at with transfers is cumulative college GPA - your HS grades and SAT scores will not really factor in. It's hard to say what kind of GPA will guarantee you in, though if you have A-(about 3.7 of 4.0) average or above that will be a big bonus in your favor.

Also they like it when you've taken lots of courses that satisfy the general education requirements for USC.

USC is a private school and so it doesn't matter at all where you're applying from - in state, out of state, international, they're all considered the same.
