How much harder is taking 12 units at the University of Southern California, than attending full time at the Junior College level?

I have a 3.95 at the Junior College Level, do you think I can sustain a 3.5 or better at USC?

I AM A PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR (UNDERGRADUATE)

12 units @ USC= 3 classes

16 units is considered full time.

Everything that I have been told by USC indicated that a student is advised to take 16 units. However a student is only obligated to be enrolled in 12 units to keep full time status.

Here is a direct quote from the USC admissions office:

What is USC's definition of a "full time student"?
A student is considered to be enrolled full time when the student has registered for 12 or more units as an undergraduate student or eight or more units as a graduate student. The number of courses for which a student has registered are not a basis for determining full-time enrollment status. The student's department and/or school may have additional requirements for full-time status.
