How heavily will ED2 affect the chances of RD applicants?

<p>I think Early Decision Applicants have somewhat of a plus. Considering the fact that it just shows that NYU will be your first, primary choice of university. It lets the admissions office know that you REALLY want it. But I dont think it has a HUGE significant impact. It’s just a bit of a boost :]</p>

<p>Thanks saveyourscissors, however my question was more in regards to Early Decision 2, which has the same deadline as Regular Decision.</p>

<p>Ahh, granted though, I believe any “early decision” is a decision worth noting for the admins-committee that NYU would be your first choice. :)</p>
