How helpful is AP English Lit for the SAT's?

<p>I'm thinking about taking AP English Lit during junior or senior year. I thought if it's helpful for the SAT's I should take it during junior year. How helpful is AP English Lit for the SAT's?</p>

<p>I imagine it could help raise your Critical Reading score if you’ll be reading more challenging texts than in the other English classes available to you. There’s usually a heavier reading load and more writing in AP than in honors or standard English classes, so keep that in mind in terms of your schedule and time.</p>

<p>It could be helpful. AP Language and Composition would probably be a little more helpful than Lit.</p>
