Emory is coming to my town..(Los Angeles) on the 19th
I was super excited and signed up for it immediately.
But something else came up and I don't think I could make it to the info session..

How helpful is it? am I missing out ?
And should I call them beforehand to let them know that I won't be attending?

Is it an extra "boost" if I attend? Maybe it'll show my interest in Emory?

Frankly, I would recommend that you attend. It does show demonstrated interest, and it only takes about an hour, if I remember correctly…

I have ride problems…
so I RSVP’d that I can’t attend…
is that a big minus?

dont worry about it, it will definitely not impact your admission

Emory does track interest and they tell you that at the on campus info session. You can show interest in other ways, but if you can make it, I would urge you to go. It will also help you figure out if you like the school.

If you have already visited campus, different story. One session is enough!
