How helpful was Rocket Review in preparing for the New SAT?

I just recieved my scores (a not so perfunctory 2100) and need to raise my score to at least a 2250...hopefully. For those that used this book, how helpful was it? Was the information presented an accurate representation of the March 2005 test? Were the strategies useful? Would they allow me to reach this score (with practice of course)? Are the strategies really that "revolutionary?"

Please indicate your SAT score (If you used this book) & give a brief explanation of if & why it benefited/did not benefit you.

I've never tried Rocket review, but I am hearing a lot about something called grammatix which sounds phony and too good to be true. It is tempting though and I need to know concretely if it's any good before I spend the $50 on the ebook thing.

Until then, i just use college board's official guide to the new sat. I only practice on real questions.

fatthermit I did the same thing as well. I only studied using Collegeboard's Book thinking it was only "trustable" source for the new SAT. I hear great reviews about grammatix also, but was wondering more about rocketreview.

Any more opinions?

yeah its too radical... some of the strategies are good but use with caution... i didnt do too much with the book... got a 2220
