How high does SAT score need to be?

I’m a NMSF. My PSAT was pretty close to my SAT (1470). I think my grades and activities are good enough to get finalist, but I’m curious if my SAT score will prevent me from getting money. Should retake SAT to try to get the scholarship?

My understanding is that you need to take your SAT score and calculate your SI Index. This SI Index must be >= commended score.

You should be fine. Your minimum SI (if you scored 800 on Math) would be 214, and the commended score is supposed to be 211
