Are you first generation (neither parent got a 4 year degree)?</p>
<p>UMich requires the SAT otherwise they won’t even read your application. 75% students have at least 1800-1850 but those admitted with 1700-1800 are special cases (legacies, students who had to overcome great obstacles, etc).
If you’re unhooked (not an athlete, not a legacy, etc.,), to have a decent chance you’d need about 1900-2000 and a 3.75 UW GPA.</p>
