i have a 3.0 comm average for both freshman and sophomore year . Im taking 3 ib courses and 2 AP classes this upcoming year and plan to get straight A's . how high would my GPA go up if i were to achieve a 4.0 this year ? my fresh gpa was a 2.9 and my sophomore was a 3.4 but im attending summer school this upcoming summer so my freshman year grade will go up .

you don’t need us to do those calculations for you. you can do them yourself.

moreover, you can’t ‘plan’ on getting straight As, especially when you’re upgrading the rigour of your schedule. It’s more likely that your GPA will drop than dramatically increase.

I wasn’t asking for an exact calculation just an estimate of what someone thought it would go up too … And it isn’t more likely to drop … This isn’t the first year I’ve been taking rigorous courses

again, it’s a simple process to run the numbers yourself.

the point remains; it is unlikely that your performance will drastically change. You can’t ‘plan’ on that happening.
