There's a tiny section in the welcome packet that says:

"Senior-year grades

Your admission to USC is conditional on your continued achievement at the same level of academic performance. The Office of Admission carefully reviews all final transcripts. If your senior-year grades decline, we will contact you immediately. In the most serious cases, offers of admission will be rescinded."

Any thoughts??

DO NOT get any Ds or Fs. if you get one C it isn’t a big deal. just maintain your As and Bs and you’ll be fine.

I e-mailed my admission counselor about this and she said A’s and B’s with maybe one C is acceptable. Where they start to worry is if they see a stream of C’s.

If you magically go form being a 4.0 honors student to flunking all your classes, that’s when you should worry. If you’re smart to begin with, I find it really unlikely that you’ll suddenly go from As to Cs, Ds and Fs in the span of two months of school.

Enjoy the last few weeks of high school and don’t freak out! It’s all over now! (And the last few weeks of high school are so much fun. Seriously, enjoy it.)
