How important are ECs at UCLA?

I'm your typical Indian. I have a 4.27 UC GPA, a 2150 SAT score(which I plan to increase to 2200) and SAT 2s above the 750s. However, my ECs are somewhat lacking and generic. I've been involved in 3 clubs for about two years, and I'm holding a job this summer at the tech museum in San Jose. My strongest EC is volunteering at the California Tamil Academy, where I help teach Tamil(an Indian language) to kids. I've been doing this for 3 years, and these hours added up with Key Club hours gives me 120 hours total. However, I don't play a sport or hr have real leadership. How badly will this affect my chances? UCLA is my dream school, but I'd also settle for UCSD or Davis so can someone please evaluate my chances for all three of these schools? Thanks in advance.

Total number of hours aren't important, it's that you develop a distinct dedication or passion for one, or a couple of your ECs

other than that:

UCLA: Slight, SLIGHT reach(beef up the EC's and ull be fine)
UCSD: Match
UCD: Consider yourself in

flopsy, feel free to rip me apart.

UCD: Safety

too late to beef up the ECs but you have a pretty good shot. match.

I got in with 45 hours total of community service and nothing else so your activites are likely good enough.

****! I forgot to cap when calculating my UC GPA. It's actually more like 4.21, but I've taken 3 AP tests with four and 2 fives. Sorry for the inconvenience but can someone reevaluate my chances with this new GPA?

Bump bump! Any more replies?

if you feel insecure about your lack of ECs, then write good personal statements to round out your application
