Ive done about 30 hours of teaching kids to ice skate at my local hockey rink, and plan on doing 10-20 more hours this summer of something else for the community. Im hoping my essays will be more important that ECs and CS…what do you think?

Are you involved in clubs? Sports? Church?

They help a lot. But if there are any activities you've been in, keep doing them. It is a lot more impressive to colleges for an applicant to stay steady with 1 or 2 activities for several years than for the applicant to suddenly pick up 5-6 activities their junior or senior year.
