Hi,

I just finished my GRE exam today and I came out a little disappointed.
I received a 760Q/600V. The quantitative is a bit lower than I had hoped.

I'm a fairly good student, pulling a 3.87-3.9 GPA and am doing research with one of my professors. The schools I'm looking at have an average quantitative GRE score that is about 17-20 points higher than mine (UCBerkeley, MIT, Northwestern).

I was just wondering if I still have a decent chance with my GRE score, or how important the GRE's are in deciding who gets admitted and who doesn't.

Thanks a bunch.
