I’m considering applying to Cornell this fall but I’m not sure if I should due to my SAT 2 scores. My SAT score is 1470 (new sat) but my math 2 score is 650 and my bio score is 570 (terrible I know but I didn’t study ). I would be applying to CALS so I’m not required to submit subject tests but Cornell doesn’t have score choice so I’d have to submit them anyway. How much would my sat 2 scores hurt my chances?
I don’t think you have to submit your SAT 2s for CALS and I wouldn’t submit those. Your SAT 1 is good!! You could call admissions to find out for sure if you have to submit the SAT 2s.
Retake them and send the new scores.
Thanks! I’ll call them and find out if I have to submit my scores. But if I did just submit them like this, how much would it hurt my chances?
I just called admissions and if I’m applying to CALS I don’t have to submit subject tests even if I took them.
Great. That’s what I thought. Don’t submit them; while they may or may not hurt, they definitely won’t help.
