Just a quick question. I always thought SATIIs weren't too big of a deal in admissions, but now I'm starting to wonder. I did very well on SAT (2260), and pretty well on SATII, 750, 720, 680. For ivy and other top schools, you think those are alright? I always thought they were, but who knows

of course sat iis are considered in the admission process, otherwise they wouldn't ask for them. and yes, your scores seem fine to me. good luck!

They're a third of the academic consideration. Do your best on 'em.

alright thanks. "third of academic consideration"? i don't think they're as important as sats, since those are actually reported for statistics. you rarely see satII averages reported anywhere other than the writing, which is now on sat of course

It depends on where you want to go to school. Many colleges do not require SAT II's, so if you submit them, they really don't have to much weight. However, if the school requires them, it is a whole different story.

ohgod. I did HORRIBLE on my SAT IIs. I'm not making excuses (ok, well maybe I am) but at my school, nobody takes the SATs. They take the ACT. So. apparantly SAT IIs are something a lot of people study for. Yeah, didn't get that message.

I'm taking them again in January, but most schools won't accept scores that late.

blah.

im really just asking about my scores specifically, for schools that all require them, most of which only require 2. im applying mostly to ivies and other top schools.

there top scores for most colleges, but at IVY leagues and top 20 schools there only average - i doubt it will hurt you thou it just probly wont help , mine are fairly similar

yea thats what i figured, theyd probably look at it, say fine, and look at the other stuff
