<p>They are all important. </p>
<p>Essays are the only part that allows you the chance to tell who you really are. So while the SATs and GPA are important (as they show your academic strength; for SAT, the only standardized numerical measurement), don’t slack off when writing your essay! Give some thought into it and let your personality shine through.</p>
<p>I would say essays are very important and SATs are important. If your SATs are just OK, your essays and the rest of your profile better be super good.</p>
