so first semester of high school ends in January and i was wondering if they have any significance in the decision made by the uc's. don't they only see our 9,10,and11 grades? thanks

Senior grades don’t have any significance for ADMISSION- they don’t even see them until after you’re admitted. However, if your senior year grades (both 1st and 2nd semester) are low, your offer of admission may be rescinded.

I’ve been told you can also appeal admissions decisions with your senior grades if you REALLY REALLY want to go to a certain UC, but I’m guessing it’d be a crapshoot.
