How important are senior grades for ED?

Hi everyone, I recently applied to Cornell CAS ED. My resume is pretty good, but I'm concerned about my senior first trimester grades. I have been slipping a bit, and I may have some A-s and Bs in my first trimester. Could this really impact my chances at admissions? How important are senior grades in general for ED acceptance? Thanks

Bump!!!

I don’t have an answer, but as another ED applicant, this is on my mind too. Bumping

My counselor said she doesn’t send first quarter grades unless the school requests them, so my guess is that they only ask for first quarter/trimester grades if you’re on the border of getting in.

Your senior grades don’t matter unless you start getting C’s or failing classes. You almos thave to actively try to get your offer rescinded. Obviously, you should sitll hand in your homeworks and stuf fon time and aim for at least a B, or whatever your previous years grades were.

I know that Cornell called my D’s GC, to inquire whether she was keeping the same academic standard that she had in previous years, about 2 weeks before ED decisions came out. I don’t iknow if this is standard practice or only for canidates who they are “on the fence” about?

darn… that worries me. i haven’t been doing so well in my english class lately :(
