How important are teacher ratings on the CommonApp?

<p>My teacher gave me back his letter of rec for me to mail myself, and I looked at the ratings and they were pretty average/okay, with none in the best column. However, his actual letter was great. Will this hurt my chances at admission?</p>

<p>Also, my other teacher gave me back her rec and all of her ratings were really outstanding. Would these differences in both teachers' ratings confuse the admissions officers?</p>

<p>the admission process isnt just based on teacher recs. yes theyre important but as long as everything else is perfect itll be fine</p>
