<p>^ She went to my school. It’s a shame what happened. She was absolutely brilliant and everyone was overwhelmed with her academic success. However, people who study all the time are in shock when they get to college. In high school, academic excellence is more than just ECs, test scores, grades, etc. It’s also about how well one can balance a social life. I don’t mean they should get fxcked up all the time, but the people who display the grades, test scores, ECs, resume, AND a great social life (with ppl who actually like them and isn’t just a tag-along) are the real people who indicate success in their future.</p>
