<p>Submitting an extended resume is highly recommended, especially for non-automatic admits. I think it will definitely increase your chances - you get the chance to provide more information on your activities while showing that you are willing to put in extra effort for UT. As a non-automatic admit, I submitted an extended resume last year and was accepted by UT and one of its honor programs. I believe that my extended resume definitely helped this happen.</p>

How long should a UT resume be? </p>

<p>@frank274323‌ - The website explains that you should make the resume as long as you need it to be. Unlike a resume for a job, where the typical protocol is to limit yourself to about a page, your UT resume could be 3 pages. Fill in everything you’ve done, and the length does not really matter. </p>
