How important is AP Stats?

Last year I put off taking AP Art History intending to take it senior year, but now I’d like to take music theory as well.
The only issue is that while I could take 7 classes, it would cost $500+ for transportation fees so I’ve decided to see if I could keep my schedule at six classes instead.

This would be my schedule if I kept all 7 classes:
AP Lit
AP Stats
AP Music Theory
AP Gov/Econ
AP Art History
AP Physics 1/B
Orchestra

While I could pick between Music Theory and Art History, I could just drop AP Stats to take both. Of course I feel really “iffy” about this since I wouldn’t technically have a math class for senior year, but I was hoping that physics would make up for it.

I took AP Calc BC junior year but the typical route is to take AP Stats the year after, so would it be really weird for me to drop Stats for Music Theory? (I’m not really sure what I want to major in later, but I am definitely not going into engineering.)

Thanks for reading!

That’s really the typical route? In my school, you take Stat if you’re too lazy to take Calc. Anyways, I’d say take the class that you enjoy. Calc BC is rigourous enough to show competence in math.

AP Stats is usually just an elective class, so it’s not important whether one takes it or not.

I would say that Econ would count as a math - ish aswell. Nonetheless, I have no real math class next year either and I don’t think that it would truly matter.
