I'm wondering how important my ACT and SAT scores are going to be because I have a cake walk school that doesn't really have challenging options. We only have one AP class which I plan on taking and no gifted of honors program. The normal classes are insanely weaksauce and there are no really challenging courses offered (we don't have calculus, physics, etc...), because they can't fill up a class with enough students to offer them. I'm making the best of what I can, by doubling up on Math, getting the best grades possible, and I might to a merit based private school my junior and senior year if I can, but I still wonder how this would effect my chances to getting into a good school (assuming my scores were a 33 for the ACT and a 2250 on the SAT, which aren't my scores now, but are what I'm shooting for my my senior year).

Strength of courseload is always relative to the school, so you wont be penalized for your schools course offerings as long as your getting good grades.

ok thanks. This is a relief; I’ve been worrying about it for a while now.
