<p>The first year has gone well for my son. He has had many great opportunities and met some great people. He is not very thrilled about the grade-deflation policy. He has really had to work hard for his grades, which he was not used to doing in high school. He seems to be happy with his advisor.
It has been hard for me having him so far away. He came home for Christmas break, but I haven’t seen him since then. He is our “baby”, so we are empty nesters now and that is quite a big change!</p>

<p>That sucks I got ~$45k aid, and got the free trip. Perhaps the cutoff was not as low as I expected. But, it never hurts to try to personally contact Princeton and ask for a free trip. It only costs like $250 for Princeton to give a free trip, so they may provide it given you have a nice explanation ;)</p>
<p>i’m going to the preview because i’m undecided and i’ve never been there so i’m not sure if i’ll like it.</p>
<p>u however seem to be the opposite. if u’ve been there and know you’re going i’ll have to agree with the others that it probably won’t matter</p>
