<p>Small bonus at best. Your SAT score is what matters.</p>

<p>yeah, i wish i would have known how important it was. my high school gives the psat, but they didnt even tell us anything about the national merit aspect of it, because they dont expect that anyone will score that high. if i would have studied a little bit harder, i could have made finalist instead of just commended, and probably received more money.</p>
<p>so if you are over the 200 mark, i recommend going the extra mile and studying so that you can be a finalist.</p>
